Rancid

I received this product today, and unfortunately it is spoiled. It smells awful, like rancid fat. I asked the company to reimburse me for it and I wanted to return it to them but they refused to give me a refund. They also started that the product is supposed to smell that way! With all do respect, I refuse to believe it! I understand chemistry and I know how the oxidized fat smells like! It would not only be unpleasant to put it on the skin but it can also be harmful. I am disappointed in this company and I will not order from them again.

Thank you for giving us you honest opinion, however, it is your opinion.
I tried to explain, this product is unscented and what you smell is all the beautiful natural ingredients that we carefully put into the formula to create an amazing exfoliation mask. The oil content (you mentioned 'rancid') is less than 1% of the product. Most of the ingredients are plant distillates or extracts, and honey and everything is protected by our preservative system. None of that has the potential to become 'rancid'.
We love harnessing the power of plants to address skin care needs, and we stand behind our products 100%. If something goes wrong we know it and we deal with it.
Again, sorry that you do do not like this product but plenty of others love it.

I purchased this mask and was very excited to try it. The application is much easier by using the pump but it did not give me the luxurious soft feeling as the taro honey mask. I was expecting little more from it. I really wanted to give higher rating but I was not as impressed as using the taro honey mask. Please bring the taro honey mask back. It was the best mask I have ever used, I gifted my family members with that and they were very happy with the mask.
